Sales Representative

Job Duties

• Utilize cold calling, direct marketing campaigns, incentive programs, and networking to increase sales

• Services existing accounts and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trades

• Forecast sales, develop sales strategies and models, and evaluate their effectiveness

• Evaluate customer needs and build productive long lasting relationships

• Meet personal and team sales targets

• Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, making recommendations to management

• Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, and marketing techniques

• Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly / annual territory analyses

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven sales experience, customer service skills

• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills

• Self-motivated, driven, self-confident

• Territory management, and client relationships

• Presentation skills and profficient in Microsoft Office

 

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of 2-3 years sales experience

• High school diploma

• Ability to travel, including some overnight

• Ability to drive and operate a motor vehicle with a valid driver’s license

 

Preferred Qualifications

5-10 years sales experience

Two year degree

HVAC Systems & Equipment knowledge preferred

 

Compensation

Base salary plus commission, 401k and profit sharing available, health Insurance
